STOCKMORE IMAGES INC. PRIVACY POLICY

LAST UPDATED: December 2025

Stockmore Images Inc., together with its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively, the "Company," "we," "us," or "our"), is dedicated to upholding the confidentiality of your personal information. This Privacy Policy outlines our practices regarding the acquisition, utilization, and dissemination of your personal data. These provisions extend to all Company websites and related offerings that reference this Privacy Policy (the "Websites"), excluding any websites or offerings that direct to an alternative privacy notice.

ACQUISITION OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

The nature of personal data we gather varies according to your engagement with us, the Websites you access, and your selections. We obtain and handle personal data with your authorization and/or as requisite to furnish the offerings you employ, conduct our operations, fulfill our contractual and statutory duties, safeguard the integrity of our systems and clientele, or pursue other valid interests.

Data Furnished Directly by You

We accumulate personal information that you voluntarily submit. This may encompass your full name, electronic mail address, mailing address, telephone number, facsimile number, demographic details, and additional data you provide. In instances of purchases, we also secure credit card details and other payment particulars.

Data Gathered Automatically

The Company collects specific types of information, such as the originating website, your Internet Protocol address, browser specifications and language, and timestamps of access. We may further amass navigational data, including viewed pages, selected hyperlinks, and other interactions with the Websites. Additional details are elaborated below in the "Deployment of Cookies and Analogous Technologies" section.

Data from External Sources

We procure information from third parties as well. We safeguard such information in alignment with the protocols delineated herein, supplemented by any further constraints imposed by the originating source. These external sources may include:

  • Information aggregators from whom we acquire demographic data to augment our collected information;
  • Platforms and utilities, such as social media networks, that render user data accessible;
  • Vendors that assist in ascertaining your device's location via its IP address to tailor certain offerings;
  • Collaborators with whom we engage in joint ventures or co-marketing initiatives; and
  • Publicly accessible repositories, including governmental databases or other openly available data.

We may integrate your personal data from diverse sources to deliver a more cohesive, uniform, and customized experience.

You retain the option to withhold personal data; however, such refusal may preclude access to certain products or services.

We employ the term "devices" to denote computers, mobile apparatuses, and associated internet browsers or applications interfacing with the internet. The Company participates in cross-device data aggregation, which involves compiling data from devices statistically linked or correlated. Our collaborators facilitating this employ cross-device data to enable interest-oriented advertising and deliver customized promotions across multiple devices.

UTILIZATION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

The Company utilizes your personal data acquired via our Websites for objectives specified in this Privacy Policy or otherwise communicated to you. For instance, we deploy your personal data to:

  • Deliver and administer services, encompassing security measures, diagnostics, enhancements, and personalization of those services;
  • Manage and refine our Websites and commercial activities, including internal processes and protective mechanisms;
  • Comprehend your preferences to augment your interaction with our Websites;
  • Execute your transactions;
  • Offer client assistance and address your inquiries;
  • Conduct analyses and evaluations to refine our products, services, and technologies;
  • Dispatch communications, including acknowledgments, billing statements, technical advisories, revisions, security notifications, and support correspondences;
  • Inform you regarding novel products, propositions, incentives, competitions, forthcoming occasions, and supplementary details about our offerings and those of designated collaborators (consult the "Selections and Preferences" section herein for modifying promotional communication settings); and
  • Present content, including promotions, tailored to your inclinations.

In pursuing these aims, we amalgamate data from varied sources to afford you a more seamless, consistent, and individualized experience.

Given that our operations involve licensing photographic images under Royalty-Free and Royalty-Bearing models, and copyrights may endure indefinitely, the Company must preserve certain records, such as licensing histories and contact particulars, to address potential third-party assertions and comply with archival mandates under pertinent laws in our operational jurisdictions.

SHARING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Save as articulated in this Privacy Policy, the Company refrains from disseminating your personal data to unaffiliated entities.

We disclose personal data with your approval or as essential to finalize your transactions or furnish requested services. We may also share your personal data intra-corporately, including with subsidiaries, affiliates, and divisions, all of which may employ your data for the purposes herein.

We may disclose your personal data to service providers executing functions on our behalf. For example, we may engage external entities for payment processing, data archiving, website hosting, order fulfillment, marketing assistance, auditing, and similar tasks. These entities are authorized to access solely the personal data requisite for their services, are bound to uphold confidentiality, and are barred from utilizing it for extraneous purposes. The Company maintains contractual arrangements with these third parties mandating their handling of personal data in conformity with our legal obligations.

Personal data pertaining to our clientele may be revealed in conjunction with any merger, asset transfer, divestiture, acquisition, or disposition of all or part of the Company, as well as in improbable scenarios of insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership, wherein personal data would constitute a transferred business asset. Notification of such events shall occur as described in the "Amendments to This Privacy Policy" section infra.

We reserve the prerogative to disclose your personal data if we reasonably believe it is mandated by law (encompassing national security or enforcement imperatives), or if such action is reasonably warranted to adhere to legal proceedings, respond to assertions, or safeguard the rights, assets, or safety of the Company, its personnel, clientele, or the populace.

RETENTION OF PERSONAL DATA

We retain personal data solely for the duration necessary to manage and enhance our services, consummate requested transactions or activities (including investigative and assurance endeavors), fortify security and thwart fraudulence, adhere to legal and regulatory imperatives, preserve precise records, resolve contentions, and enforce our pacts. Retention periods are ascertained via criteria such as: the objective and lifecycle of the endeavor (e.g., support or assurance cycles), data category and sensitivity, user elections and anticipations (including consents and revocations), applicable legal, audit, fiscal, and archival requisites (including holds and limitation spans), contractual commitments, operational necessities and last activity date, and technical limitations such as backup protocols. Where practicable, we anonymize or aggregate data, supplanting raw elements with summaries or de-identified notations, and expunge or sequester raw files when superfluous. Certain records mandated for compliance (e.g., consent or transaction logs) may be preserved separately under restricted access. Owing to the perpetual nature of copyrights in photographic images, the Company is compelled to retain certain information, such as licensing chronicles and contact data, for protracted periods to manage potential claims and fulfill archival duties under relevant jurisdictions.

SOCIAL MEDIA INTEGRATION

Certain pages may permit sharing of personal data with third-party platforms, such as social networks. In such cases, shared data falls under those third parties' privacy protocols. We may amalgamate data from those platforms (e.g., profile particulars, interactions) with other amassed information and utilize or disclose it as herein described. Absent legal compulsion, we disclaim control over or liability for third-party practices. For insights into their data handling, consult their privacy policies.

ACCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

To examine or amend previously submitted information, access the "Account Settings" section of the Websites. Your designated representative may aid in modifications or deletions. For further support, contact privacy@stockmore.com. Responses shall be furnished within thirty (30) days. Note that certain rights may be inapplicable where processing is essential for legal defenses or public interest exemptions.

DEPLOYMENT OF COOKIES AND ANALOGOUS TECHNOLOGIES

The Company utilizes "cookies" and comparable mechanisms, such as pixel tags and beacons ("Tracking Technologies"), to facilitate login, customize experiences, and refine functionality. A cookie is a modest data file deposited on your device, containing readable information like visit timestamps, registration details, and browsing history.

Tracking Technologies serve legitimate ends, including:

  • Identifying returning users to retrieve prior searches, access collections, and view billing history.
  • Streamlining processes by obviating repetitive data entry.
  • Monitoring actions on our and external sites to deliver tailored content, including search outcomes and targeted promotions.
  • Enhancing security via credential verification and fraud prevention.
  • Recalling user preferences.
  • Facilitating real-time assistance from support personnel.

Our aim is to render the Websites intuitive and pertinent, offering personalized services.

Analytics Implementation

We engage third-party providers for analytics, potentially deploying Tracking Technologies on our behalf, such as for site performance metrics. We collaborate with entities to track behaviors across sites for customized advertising. Demographic and interest analytics inform our strategies.

Third-Party Promotion

We permit third parties to deploy Tracking Technologies for promotional objectives. External content or advertisements (e.g., videos, banners) may involve connections to third-party servers, enabling their cookie placement and data collection on cross-site activities. We partner with entities to display promotions on our and external platforms, utilizing demographic insights for relevance, thereby optimizing user engagement and advertiser efficacy.

Third-party promoters adhering to industry self-regulation are cataloged on pertinent oversight sites, offering opt-out mechanisms. Exercising opt-outs curtails targeted promotions but permits generic ones.

SELECTIONS AND PREFERENCES

The Company honors your autonomy in managing personal data utilization. To abstain from marketing communications or adjust preferences:

  • Modify settings via the designated preference portal on our Websites;
  • Contact your account liaison;
  • Email privacy@stockmore.com;
  • Follow opt-out instructions in promotional missives.

Opting out of marketing precludes such communications but permits transactional ones (e.g., confirmations, statements).

Browser configurations allow rejection; however, this may impair functionality, as the Websites are optimized for enabled cookies.

Third-Party Promotion

Opt-out via industry portals to mitigate targeted ads.

Mobile Apparatuses

LEGAL FOUNDATIONS FOR PROCESSING

We process personal data in compliance with applicable privacy laws, including Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Ontario's privacy frameworks. Processing occurs where:

  • Essential for service provision, support, personalization, and security;
  • Advances legitimate interests (unoverridden by your protections), such as development, marketing, and rights defense;
  • Based on your consent for designated purposes; or
  • Required for legal compliance.

Consent may be withdrawn, though prior processing remains unaffected. Legitimate interest objections may be lodged, potentially necessitating cessation of services.

ONTARIO PRIVACY RIGHTS

Residents of Ontario governed by PIPEDA or equivalent provincial statutes possess rights including access, rectification, and withdrawal of consent, subject to exceptions. Requests via privacy@stockmore.com; direct controller inquiries accordingly. Complaints may be filed with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or Ontario's Information and Privacy Commissioner.

SECURITY MEASURES FOR YOUR PERSONAL DATA

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to shield your personal data from unauthorized access, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, including encryption for sensitive transmissions. Notwithstanding, no system is infallible; thus, absolute security cannot be assured. Password confidentiality is your obligation.

INTERACTIVE ELEMENTS
